Strawberry Lemonade
I haven't tried that many cool drink recipes until now. Today I have tried the basic Lemonade with the twist of summer seasonal fruit Strawberry. Here in DFW, this summer started early with lot of intense heat. Summer always reminds me of holidays fun from childhood days. When we were kids Rasna used to be the favorite summer cool drink for all the kids and it is easy to make for mommies as well. But for this generation kids, the soft cola drinks are taking over the natural cool drinks. So today I am taking you back with this old recipe but with some newness to serve for this generation. Here is the recipe, Njoy!
Ingredients:
Strawberry - 5
Sugar - 2 Tbsp
Ice Cubes - 4
Lime Juice - 1 Tbsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
water - 4 cups
Method:
Remove the stem from the the strawberries and cut into half. Grind the strawberries along with sugar. Now add Lime Juice and salt and blend one more time. Add Ice Cubes and grind one more time until the ice crushes. Now you will get the texture of Strawberry slush. Add this to Glass Pitcher and Add the water to the pitcher and mix well. Now add some sliced lime rounds for additional garnish effect. Serve into glasses and Enjoy simple Lemonade with the twist of Strawberry in the summer to beat the heat.
Will meet you here with one more cool recipe..
until then take care
