Hello Readers, is everybody ready for Super Bowl weekend? Here is one easy peasy Healthy Dip recipe for your nachos on the Game Day. This is such an easy recipe that any one can make it, I mean 'Any One'. There is no need to lit up the stove at all. So Hello Husbands, Get out of that Couch and just follow these instructions and surprise your wife and take all the credit. As the name says you just need 7 Ingredients and arrange them in Layers. That's how simple it is, But you will be amazed with the end result, as several flavors go in this recipe, that makes your Nachos interesting. Here is the recipe, Njoy!

Mexican 7 Layer Dip
Ingredients:
Taco Seasoning Mix - 1 Packet ( 1 oz)
Refried Beans - 1 can
Sour Cream - 1 tub ( 16 oz)
Avocado - 2 ( or 1 Cup Guacamole)
Pico De Gello - 1 cup
Jalapenos - 1/2 cup ( seeded and chopped) ( 3 or 4 in Number)
Black Olives - 1/2 cup (chopped )
Mexican 4 Cheese - 2 Cups

Preparatory Steps:

  1. Mix Taco Seasoning and Refried Beans in a medium bowl
  2. Make Guacamole: Cut the Avocado into small pieces and add some chopped cilantro and squeeze lime juice with a pinch of salt and black pepper. ( How to make Guacamole?)
  3. Trim the Jalapenos and take out the seeds and membranes chop into small pieces.

Method:

1. Take a wide Bowl or big platter and spread the Re-fried Beans seasoned with Taco Seasoning.

2. Evenly spread the Guacamole Mixture on top Re-fried Beans

3. Spread Sour Cream on top of Guacamole

4. Spread 1 cup of Mexican 4 cheese

5. Spread Pico De Gello mixture evenly

6. Now add Jalapeno Slices and Black Olive Slices

7. Finally top with remaining 1 cup cheese and spring onions or cilantro

Dip your Nachos or Tortilla Chips In and Enjoy that Game!

Notes:

  • If you are worried about Jalapenos, you can replace it with chopped Green Bell Pepper slices
  • You don't have to use the entire sour cream (use sparingly based on your diet needs)
  • You can garnish with chopped spring onions
  • Canned Refried Beans may have meat in it. If you are vegetarian, look for Vegetarian Refried Beans int eh Grocery Store. I found it in Walmart.
  • I have used Spicy Taco Seasoning which added some zest for this dip.
  • If you want more greens in your dip, you can add Lettuce on top as well. ( i haven't used it here)

  2. I could eat Mexican food every day. This looks particularly good, and I think, considering the lettuce and tomatoes, that this can really be thought of as a salad. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-)
